Hardbook for AI assistants

The connector address is https://hard-book.com/api/mcp. You sign in with your Hardbook account and approve the connection once.

• Claude: Settings, Connectors, Add custom connector, then paste the address. Once Hardbook is in the connector directory, you can also add it from there.
• ChatGPT: once the Hardbook app is in the app directory, add it from there. Before that, Developer mode lets you add the address as a custom MCP server.

On the approval page, read the address under "Request from". Connect only when it is the assistant you are using.

• get_setup_status — What is set up and what is still missing.
• get_booking_page — Tagline, heading, booking rules, booking questions, day rate, deposit, business details, colours and fonts.
• list_packages — Your packages and extras.

Each change is a tool call. Your assistant shows you what it is about to change, and money changes wait for your yes.

• set_day_rate — Your day rate in your default currency.
• set_deposit — Deposit on or off, and its size.
• set_business_details — Default currency, website, payment terms, date format.
• set_profile — Tagline, heading and subheading.
• set_booking_rules — The switches of a booking: signed contract, one document, pencils, auto-confirm, packages, and the day rate on the page.
• set_intake_questions — The questions a client answers when they book, and which details to ask for.
• upsert_package — Add or change one package or extra.
• remove_package — Remove one package or extra.
• apply_brand — Colours and fonts of your booking page.

If a setting needs a paid plan, the assistant tells you so in plain words. See pricing.

• Move money. No tool can capture, release or refund a deposit hold.
• Touch a booking or a client.
• Change a Studio design. A page with a Studio design is changed in the Studio only.
• Type your legal name or tax id. You type those in the app.

For each change made through an assistant we record the tool name, the names of the fields it changed, which assistant made it, the time, how long it took, and whether it worked. We never record the values. See the privacy policy.

Remove the connector in your assistant's settings. The assistant then has no way to reach your account.
